Saturday Videos – November 5, 2011

Saturday dawns and this is my excuse to spend time on the Comedy Central web site to “find” one or two videos to share.

And a double dose of videos for you as we get closer to the primary season. What better way to learn more about the Republican presidential candidates than through mockery and humor? Certainly beats taking any of them seriously.

Stephen Colbert – The Colbert Report

Colbert Super PAC – Herman Cain’s Fundraising & Rush Limbaugh’s Stereotypes

Herman Cain’s sexual harassment scandal doesn’t hurt his campaign fundraising, and Rush Limbaugh shares his racial stereotype expertise.

Indecision 2012 – Herman Cain’s International Affairs

Herman Cain understands domestic issues because he has experience selling pizza, and he understands international issues because pizza is Italian.

Jon Stewart – The Daily Show with Jon Stewart

Men Not at Work

Congressional Republicans believe that the only thing more important than focusing on jobs is sending Barack Obama a petty, unrelated message on official house stationery.

Conservative Minorities vs. Liberal Minorities

Donald Trump accuses Jon of racism, and Samantha Bee, Wyatt Cenac and John Oliver discuss the inherent superiority of conservative minority figures.

  1. From Colbert, on Rush Limbaugh’s stereotypes:
It proves that “not all old fat men are jolly”

From Stewart, on Michele Bachmann wanting more jobs … for children:
“That is why I, Michele Bachmann, make sure that my fact checking staff consists entirely of 3rd graders.”
